| The new Vertex LC-8021 water
control valve can limit damage and liability by shutting off
water to leaking appliances, pipes or faucets. When the sensor
detects water, the controller activates the motorized ball
valve to close and the alarm sounds until it is reset. As
many as 4 sensors can be attached to each controller up to
50 feet away, and the valve can be up to 100 feet from the
controller. Each sensor has connectors which attach directly
to controller board.
Instantly open or close the valve from the controller
for repair, maintenance or extended vacancy. The Risc based
logic controller has an automatic daily valve management feature
that can move the valve from full open to 3⁄4 open and
back once a day to eliminate sticking in one position. The
4 AA batteries provide uninterrupted power to insure closure
even during a power outage. |
