The signal cable is wrapped externally around pipe. The HardWaterWizard produces a square wave alternating at 1,000 to 12,000 cycles/sec. The complex modulated signal field at variable frequency – induces an electrical field in the pipe which alters the hard water ions and increases their solubility. The incoming water containing calcium and other mineral ions in solution is acted on and becomes less saturated with calcium and able to dissolve existing scale.

The HardWaterWizard (tm) produces an oscillating electric field in the water pipe which changes continuously in frequency and direction. This changes the property of the hardness minerals so they stay in solution.
   

The HardWaterWizard is an excellent choice for home-owners who want conditioned water but don’t want the salt contamination, maintenance effort and expense for ion exchange softeners. Uses less than 10-watts of electricity and will work on plastic, copper and steel pipes. Comes complete with converter, signal cable, cable ties, transformer, mounting screws and instruction manual.
