The signal cable iswrapped externally
around pipe. The HardWaterWizard
(tm) produces a square wave alternating at 1,000 to 12,000 cycles/sec.
The complex modulated signal field at variable frequency –
induces an electrical field in the pipe which alters the hard
water ions and increases their solubility. The incoming water
containing calcium and other mineral ions in solution is acted
on and becomes less saturated with calcium and able to dissolve
existing scale.
